When I first heard about USES, I was skeptical but my curiosity made me search further. We were looking for a system which could clean up the noisiest power. Our customers have experienced power sags, surges, brown outs, electrical noise, transient voltages, electrical shorts, etc., causing CNC equipment to be interrupted. Since we are a manufacturing shop, there are certainly many variations in our loads and product shipped from month to month. However, taking that into consideration as best we can, we still believe we have saved 9.7% on our electric bill in the main building and over 15% in our other buildings. We had frequently experienced voltage transients. In several instances our company-operated machinery was shut down due to power surges, causing damage to components being machined at the time.
