What Is Power Enhancement?

What is power enhancement and why should it matter to me?

If you read the trade publications in any industry, jargon and inaccuracy often distort the flow of information. In the electrical products industry, our systems (technically called Shunt Efficiency Systems) are lumped into the category of power conditioners, and they get lost among dozens of surge suppression devices. Yet surge suppression is only one of six principal benefits of the USES® Mfg Inc. program. But we aren't about to let efficacy or industry practice hide its light under a bushel.

Power enhancement is a category that fits our technology to a "t" – in fact, power enhancement is a category defined by the very characteristics our products bring to the table.

No product on the market today protects equipment, improves performance and saves energy – and money – like USES® Mfg Inc. power enhancement systems.

It is uncharted territory in which we have captured the high ground. The criteria for a power enhancement system include, but are not limited to:

  • WavesLowered True Kilowatt Demand
  • Lowered Kilowatt Hours
  • Reduced Total Current Content, Including Harmonics
  • Corrected Power Factor
  • Protection Against Normal Surges and Spikes
  • Reduced Motor Wear and Maintenance, Leading to Less Downtime
